Janina Schmieder is the CEO of iwis Mechatronics in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she leads strategic transformation and operational excellence within the automotive and manufacturing sectors. With over a decade of executive experience, Janina has consistently driven growth through innovation, people empowerment, and cultural transformation.

Prior to her current role, she held various leadership positions across North America and Mexico, known for her hands-on approach, commitment to team development, and ability to turn around underperforming operations. A strong advocate for intentional leadership and community engagement, Janina also co-founded GladIX, a Midwest-based activewear brand rooted in empowerment and inclusivity.

Born in Germany and deeply connected to the Midwest, Janina brings a global perspective and passion for mentoring the next generation of women leaders.
