Community Engagement Outreach Specialist

With over 10 years of work dedicated to public services, Magan proves that leading with head and heart is a perfect combination. As a current Outreach Specialist within a mental health agency, Magan's main focus is devoted to developing relationships with stakeholders and providing client advocacy. Magan is currently an army of one who is supporting her agency's outreach efforts for an entire crisis continuum that services Porter and Starke counties. 

Magan's passion for others doesn't stop there, as Magan is also a Certified Peer Support Specialist, and Emergency Triage Specialist within her agency, allowing her to provide one-on-one support to the clients that she cares for. To further her career, Magan is currently following her path to a Master's of Public Health. Magan is set to graduate in July of 2026 from Indiana University Bloomington and will focus on public health administration within community health systems in Northwest Indiana.
